Iraqi Police Caught Setting Bomb

Two Iraqi police officers were caught last week trying to plant a roadside bomb in Baghdad, and officials later found they had a vehicle pass which gains entry to all coalition military bases in Iraq.

Guards for a private security firm spotted the two police officers, who had a third man with them. When US forces arrived, a search of their car revealed other bombs (IEDs), a firing pack consisting of a walkie-talkie with battery connection, a camcorder and the vehicle pass.
