This is an excellent pioneering paper out of Perth, Australia, which for the first time suggests that BACTERIA may play a role in prostate cancer.

Also see my paper on "Acid-Fast Bacteria In Prostate Cancer" at:

I think Cohen's, et al, paper is a continuing vindication of the work of Virginia Livingston MD and the "Four Women Against Cancer" -- as well as more evdence supporting the microbiology of cancer, as proposed by these scientists, Wilhelm Reich, and others .

FOUR WOMEN AGAINST CANCER

By Alan Cantwell, MD
Aries Rising Press

The Untold Story of Four Outstanding and Ignored Women Scientists Who Discovered the Bacterial Cause of Cancer!!!!

Back in the 1950s, a group of four dedicated women scientists began to work together to uncover the amazing and unprecedented germ that causes cancer. Rather than being received with enthusiasm, their published cancer research was ignored and suppressed by the cancer establishment.

The cause of cancer is unknown - or is it? In this highly provocative and controversial book, Alan Cantwell, MD, presents the revolutionary cancer research of physician Virginia Livingston, MD; microbiologist Eleanor Alexander-Jackson; cell cytologist Irene Diller; and world-famous biochemist Florence Seibert - all of whom discovered an easily detectable microbe in cancer-a germ whose existence is still totally denied by the medical establishment. Unlike any infectious agent known to science, the cancer microbe has characteristics of both bacteria and viruses-and produces a remarkable hormone that allows life to continually reproduce and renew itself.

This easy-to-read book contains valuable and largely forgotten information about the scientific achievements of these four women, as well as actual microphotographs showing these unrecognized bacteria in breast cancer, prostate cancer, lymphoma, AIDS-related cancer, and scleroderma. In addition, there is current evidence indicating that such bacteria are involved in the origin of life; and are active in a host of human diseases currently considered of unknown cause.

The idea that bacteria cause cancer is still a taboo subject in modern medicine, but there is a century of research by various investigators that proves the idea is correct. There is also a wealth of scientific information on cancer-causing bacteria on the Internet, and Dr. Cantwell points the reader to these sources for further evidence. As a result, this book is indispensable for readers who want to understand the hidden killer in cancer, and how this knowledge could be useful in finally conquering cancer.

Alan Cantwell is a retired dermatologist and an internationally known researcher in the field of cancer and AIDS microbiology. He is the author of four books on the role of bacteria in cancer and AIDS, including The Cancer Microbe; and AIDS and the Doctors of Death.

Four Women Against Cancer: Bacteria, Cancer & the Origin of Life, by Alan Cantwell, MD, is published by Aries Rising Press, P.O. Box 29532, Los Angeles, CA 90029. (323) 462-6458 ISBN: 0-917211-33-2 $16.95, 144 pages, 14 illustrations. Publication: Summer 2005.

Subject: Cancer and microorganisms.

I have just finished reading "Four Women Against Cancer: Bacteria, Cancer & the Origin of Life" by Alan Cantwell, MD. You won't find a better overview of the scientific justification for a bacterial etiology of cancer and the great lengths to which the medical establishment will go to suppress this research. I do take issue with the book's title though. It should have been "Five Researchers Against Cancer" and it should have included Alan Cantwell. If I were a much better writer, this is the book I would have written.

The women referred to in the book's title are:

Virginia Livingston
Eleanor Alexander-Jackson
Irene Corey Diller
Florence Siebert
