Ever watch an eagle or falcon fly free? Ever wonder what those beautiful symbols of freedom were thinking this week when they looked down on London with bombs exploding?

High above it all, with wings extended majestically looking for a better world, they probably couldn’t help but think the only safe place to land in Britain was on the shoulder of American author Kenyon Gibson who, like a bird in flight, migrated to London 10 years ago.

And if they were lucky enough to find him, they picked the right spot. They picked the right person because if there ever was a freedom-loving, free-spirited bird of the same feather, Gibson is the man.

Like his feathered friends he studies and writes about in his spare time when not ruffling the Bush family feathers with his hard-hitting political commentary, Gibson is in a constant free-flight search for a better world, saying London provides the perfect perch for his brand of hard-hitting criticism too hot to handle for most American publishers.

But the only problem with Gibson’s perch, at least for the English speaking crowd, is that his latest 2003 book, titled “Common Sense: A Study of Bush, the CIA and Suspicions of 9/11,” happens to be only available in Arabic.

“Yes, I had it rejected by American publishers, but I am not going to guess why. Finally, Arab Scientific Publishing in Beirut made the book available and I have had a very positive response with many people asking when an English version is coming out,” said Gibson, 42, this week in a telephone conversation from his London apartment.

“My book delves into some pretty controversial topics, like the present administration’s connections and involvement with pedophilia in America. I am a Christian and years ago I started researching this type of activity which led me to find out how the U.S. government planted pedophiles in the Catholic Church in order to benefit their political agenda.

“I also devote a chapter to the Bush connection to the Nazi Party as far back as his grandfather, Prescott, as well as the Bush connection to operation Northwoods in the 1960s, which was a precursor for the tragic events of 9/11.

“I also touch on 9/11 in my book and recently took part in a European 9/11 truth project where speakers and advocates tried to spread the word about the U.S. government’s involvement in causing 9/11 to advance their imperialistic agenda.

“I met William Rodriguez, the World Trade Center janitor, who is trying to tell the truth about what really happened on that tragic morning. And I’m not surprised how he has been silenced because the powers that be do not want to open up the door to the Israeli and the Mossad connection to 9/11. I just would advise Americans, especially after the recent London bombing, to spend the time and listen to people like William Rodriguez, because listening is going to eventually lead to the truth.”

Besides his strong political opinions, Gibson has a rather English Dr. Jeckle and Mr. Hyde way about him, bouncing back and forth from writing projects of varied topics, including the dark side of the Bush family politics, a serious book on ornithology and his most recent book in the making called “Hemp For Victory,” a look at the physical benefits of hemp and how it should be legalized.

What also makes him a rather “unusual bird” is that it’s hard to figure how he ended up such a rebellious and anti-establishment thinker when he came from such a well-bred, conservative and military-minded flock, going back to his grandfather who was a general and highly decorated in World War II veteran, as well as his uncle, an advisor to Alexander Haig who wrote the important Nato agreement.

“I come from military stock and I learned at an early age what was really going to happen in this country as far back as the Reagan administration. I knew this neo conservative group would eventually take over with their goal to take total control of America public and the rest of the world,” said Gibson, who mentioned several chapters of his book published in Arabic is devoted to CIA’s covert activity, including mind control an human micro chipping.

“So, early on, when I was still back in America, I remember wanting to remain free and independent like the eagles and falcons I study and write about today. I didn’t want anything to do with what was going to happen in America so I made sure I didn’t leave any possible way for the government to take control of me either mentally or physically.

“I didn’t want a driver’s license or anything else. Then I finally got out, left the country before it was too late.”

And Gibson’s fears about control and takeover are becoming all too real since 9/11 escalated what he calls a t"yrannical agenda" and the recent London bombings only reinforce how “timing is everything” in a war geared at fear and manipulation to advance the neo con imperialistic movement.

“After the subway bombings, a lot of people here are remembering the last time Bush visited England in 2003 when in the midst of massive protests, another supposed terrorist attack took place in Turkey. Back then Bush wouldn’t speak in public or even go to the 9/11 memorial here,” said Gibson, remembering how 2 million Brits protested Bush’s last visit.

“Now, no sooner does he step off the plane in the UK and 50 people are killed and more than 700 wounded in order to take the heat off the criticism he was going to get at the G-8 meeting. You see, timing is everything for these people. When Bush was going to be asked tough questions in public before the entire world, he now simply uses the terror card.

“All I can say is that the sentiment here in London is that a lot of people are feeling manipulated by Bush and Blair. There is anti-Bush graffiti littered all through London and there was a recent cartoon in one of the paper’s with Bush standing on a subway with a group of four men with the caption reading ‘the real terrorist may be standing right next to you.”

Concerning the subway and bus bombings, Gibson finds it hard to believe with the British obsession for security, especially in their mass transit system and in the wake of 9/11, that four large packages could go unnoticed unless it was a well-planned inside job.

“I ride the Piccadilly line and let me tell you that if someone left a large package, immediately four or five people would notice and if you didn’t take it off the tube with you, they’d immediately call the police who are, in turn, very security conscious,” said Gibson.

“I learned early on that London is very security conscious. After the bombings, the authorities said they were going to check every last second of the subway surveillance tapes to find the perpetrators but we will just have to wait and see if that really happens.”

Regarding the infamous Downing Street Memo, a high-level British intelligence document showing Bush doctored WMD reports to justify an Iraqi invasion, Gibson said the public sentiment is to remove Blair from power, but Blair’s own Labor Party is having trouble deciding just how to remove him without total collapse of the entire party.

“The British people are taking the Downing Street Memo seriously,” added Gibson. “But you have to understand British politics. There are many parties here, not like the two party system at home.

“The Labor Party is looking for a way to distance itself from Blair in an attempt to salvage the party so the country doesn’t fall into the hands of the conservative party. However, since many members of Blair’s party backed him in the war movement, unpopular here, they are trying to figure out a way not to go down with a sinking ship.”
