CREATING LITTLE SPEED FREAKS

A site called The Attention Deficit Disorder [ADD] Help Center is running an article about ADD, ADHD, and the speed drugs (yes, they are speed) given to kids after diagnosis.

Of course, there is absolutely no chemical or biological test for ADD or ADHD. There is no proven root cause for this "disorder."

There are only lists of so-called symptoms.

Conclusion? There was never a reason for creating the labels ADD and ADHD in the first place, unless you include expanding drug-company profits and a plan to drug and debilitate millions of children.

But we have schools and doctors and shrinks and counselors and parents who are wildly in favor of dosing these kids with speed. Perhaps if the kids got their drugs from shady characters lurking just off the school grounds, these officials and parents would wake up. Apparently, the white coat of the doctor and the prescription pad all are that is needed to make this drugging appear legit.

The ADD Help Center article, using 1999 stats compiled by the DEA, gives a picture of the states where speed-freak creation is humming right along.

The DEA? Why yes. Didn't you know? The drugs prescribed for so-called ADD and ADHD are Schedule II, which means they are considered dangerous and addictive. And yet...millions of kids are popping the pills every day and suffering the consequences.

Your government working for you.

Here is an excerpt from the Help Center article:

Regions within the country vary in Attention Deficit Disorder diagnosis and prescription.

The United State Drug Enforcement Agency has a system that tracks Schedule II controlled substances from point of manufacture to pharmacy location.

This tracking system can determine the amount of methylphenidate (Ritalin) and amphetamine (Adderall) used per capita in entire states or by zip codes within a state.

The data shows wide variances in the use of Ritalin, Adderall and Dexedrine from one state to another and from one community to another within the states.

The DEA data identifies some regions with almost no ADHD medication use and other regions with 10 to 20 percent of student populations receiving stimulant ADHD medication for the symptoms of ADD and ADHD. [10 TO 20? HOLY SHIT. YEAH. JR]

In 1999, New England states grabbed five of the top 10 slots for most prescribed methylphenidate (Ritalin) and four of the top 10 slots for amphetamine (Adderall) prescriptions.

A southern state appeared on each list once and only one western state made one list.

Below is the DEA 1999 ranking for the states with the highest use of methylphenidate and amphetamine per 100,000 population:

Methylphenidate (Ritalin)

1. New Hampshire
2. Vermont
3. Michigan
4. Iowa
5. Delaware
6. Massachusetts
7. South Dakota
8. Virginia
9. Minnesota
10. Maryland

Amphetamine (Adderall)

2. Rhode Island
3. South Carolina
4. Wisconsin
5. Alaska
6. Missouri
7. Arkansas
