Congress folk from both sides of the aisle have seen with their own eyes what happens to those who stand up to the Bush Crime Family. It’s not just the ballot box or place of employment where people who oppose the Bush Mafia lose. People in positions of power are eliminated. Consider:

John F. Kennedy, Jr., son of assassinated President John F. Kennedy and publisher of “George,” a glossy political journal, who almost certainly would have opposed Selection 2000. Died in an unexplained plane crash in 1999.

Jim Hatfield, author of “Fortunate Son” an unauthorized biography of Baby Doc Bush and an article entitled “Why Would Osama bin Laden Want to Kill Dubya, his Former Business Partner?” a July 2001 article that named James R Bath as the business go-between for the bin Ladens and the Bushes. Supposedly a suicide.

Bob Stephens, photo editor of The National Enquirer, the weekly tabloid that had run several unflattering pictures of the drunken Bush twins and was running articles stating Jeb Bush had gamed the 2000 election in Florida, inhaled anthrax bacteria and died. The anthrax was discovered to have come from the Ames strain, a type developed as a weapon by the U.S. Army. Several members of Congress—all Democrats—also received anthrax mailings. Others, who received anthrax mailings died, apparently random victims.

Cliff Baxter, ENRON vice chairman, who had told friends he was going to cooperate with Congressional investigators and was considering hiring a bodyguard when he unexplainedly left his home in his pajamas one evening and was found shot to death inside his car, parked a short distance from his house.

Paul Wellstone, who opposed the illegal Iraq invasion and was described as the White House’s number one enemy on Capitol Hill, died in an unexplained plane crash.

Dr. David Kelly, who said the pre-war intelligence claiming Iraq was capable of delivering WMDs was “sexed-up” to build a phony case for war with the public. Found drugged and dead in the woods near his home.

John. J. Kokal, the State Department middle east expert who was reported to have openly opposed the war because he knew there were no WMDs in Iraq. Found dead from injuries suffered in a fall from the State Department roof.

Konstantinos “Gus’ Boulis, self-made millionaire who sold his fleet of Florida gambling boats to Jack Abramoff and later opposed Abramoff’s efforts to bilk him out of monies owed. Victim of a professional assassination. BTW: Abramoff pled guilty to defrauding a bank in the deal.

U.S. Army Colonel Theodore “Ted” Westhusing, on duty in Iraq, where he was investigating contract violations and human rights abuses by US Investigations Services, the Office of Federal Investigations and contracts to Carlyle Group connected companies. On the day his bodyguard was relieved of duty, Col. Westhusing was found shot to death inside his trailer.

We must also consider the case of Valerie Plame, whose husband, Ambassador Joseph Wilson, enraged the Bush “administration” by going public with evidence that Iraq had not attempted to buy yellowcake uranium from Niger. Plame, for those new to the subject, served as a non-official cover (NOC) CIA intelligence officer. All she did, along with some of her co-workers at Brewster Jennings & Associates, was spearhead efforts to prevent the spread of nuclear, chemical and biological weapons around the world.

Bush and Co. threw Plame, her company, their contacts and network around the world to the wolves by publicly naming her as a CIA agent. Hers was very dangerous work. As a NOC, she had no government protection if she was discovered to be a spy or her company became compromised. And because she was a spy working in what appeared to be an energy consulting company, she worked under cover, like an FBI agent infiltrating the Mafia. So naming Plame was like an Attorney General publicly fingering a man who’s infiltrated the Mafia as an undercover FBI agent.

Blowing Plame’s cover also means that the White House has no compunction against sacrificing the life of a woman and her network of agents, associates and contacts. What’s even more craven and treasonous, leaking her name endangered the national security of the United States and made it easier for the nuclear nightmare to spread. And Bush and his henchmen did not care, not one bit.

That’s evil. That’s some NAZI shit.

The point:

We must show the Congressional Leadership and Membership that they are not alone in facing the BFEE.

We the People are there along with them.

And we are counting them to do the right thing.

That includes opposing the Alito SCOTUS nomination.

That includes opposing the USA PATRIOT Act and all their treasonous policies.

And that includes not "going along to get along" with the Fourth Reich."
