"Dora", is the world's first fully autonomous vehicle driven by Mac OS X. The entire development and race management efforts at Team Banzai is being done using Apple Mac OS X technology.

This piece is dated June 06, 2005. DARPA (aka; Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, or something to that effect) is sadly known to engage in research/development in order to find better and more efficient methods of killing people.

The fact that they are outing this NOW leads me to believe they have this shit in the testing/application phase for at least a couple of years.

So, they have a "drive by wire car"; all they have to do is to load it up with explosives and put a dummy behind the stirring wheel to make it look all real...which, sadly is probably what's happening recently...must say their field tests worked.

And now they (the marauding monkeys) are using this shit at will...

Mac OS X ? Steve, you've got to put a restriction on the usage!!!...or else be prepared to go down together with the US monkeys currently raping Iraq.

If it becomes wildly known that Mac OS X is driving these killing machines, Apple IS FINISHED. Biggest challenge in your life Mr. Jobs.

Incidentally; I am running three Macs (G4 Carbon, G4 QuickSilver, Mac mini; router, cable-modem of course) But I also have an old IBM G74, currently mothballed, due to the screen not coming on...maybe I will spend some time on fixing it.
